I am an independently Licensed Professional Counselor. I was born and raised in New York until I went to college at the University of Arizona for my undergraduate studies in psychology. I returned to New York City to obtain my Masters degree in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I did my internship in addiction counseling and after graduation, I continued teaching substance abuse groups. I also worked full time as a group facilitator in the community teaching and supporting patients in various areas of mental health, including depression and anxiety, psychosis, grief and loss, and personality disorders. I did this for both voluntary and court ordered patients. I then expanded my career into a forensic environment where I started working as a therapist for incarcerated individuals. I have worked with a lot of patients that have experienced trauma either as a child, adult, or both and have had great success helping them heal.

Counseling has been my natural calling for as far back as I can remember and I am lucky to say it is something I enjoy. You can say that I’m someone who is stimulated by conversation, challenge, and growth which lead me down this path. I take pride in tailoring my treatment to focus on patient specific needs, which may require the use of therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Crisis Intervention. Regardless of how we
get there, it is important for me to meet you where you are psychologically, emotionally, and mentally. With my diverse training and skills, I feel confident I can offer you a supportive, non- judgmental, and safe space for therapy that is conducive to healing and growth. So, let’s get you
