Elizabeth Arrington, LCSW
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker who has worked in the behavioral health field since 2012. I received my Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Sociology at the University of Arizona and my Masters in Social Work at Arizona State University. I believe that we as individuals can work to change how we approach our feelings. This can be done by altering our thoughts and changing our behaviors to live a more satisfying life. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults through various life challenges including dealing with divorce, trauma, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, anger, identity, grief and bereavement, crises, life transitions, and the social and emotional effects of COVID-19. I utilize the Systems Theory perspective and practice using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution -Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. I strive to create a welcoming environment of warmth and attention to help clients to feel heard, understood, and accepted.
