I am an independently licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my bachelors in Psychology at The University of Arizona, and my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Arizona State University. I have worked with a wide range of patient populations including children ages 5 - 17, families, adults ages 18 - 74 and couples. I have worked in community behavioral health for over 5 years, and have training in trauma, systems theory, victims of sexual abuse, anxiety and disruptive child behaviors. I am dedicated to identifying and addressing the root cause of problems from a non-judgmental stance. I take a strengths-based approach in order to identify your individual and family strengths to help you achieve your identified goals. I believe the relationship between a client and therapist is crucial, and I strive to offer a safe space for my clients. I do this so client can explore and learn emotional-regulation skills, coping strategies, and communication skills. I provide an objective view and offer feedback and skills to identify your strengths, and healing. I begin with a comprehensive assessment in order to determine areas of concern and ensure an effective approach to care. Together, we will use results from this assessment to develop goals for treatment. My job is to support you in meeting your goals through multiple different disciplines including TF-CBT, CBT, Solution-Focused, EFT, and Structural Therapy.
